Description: Thomas O. Mix Jr. (WSBA No. 24112, admitted 1994), of Flint, Michigan, was suspended for 179 days, effective October 14, 2011, by order of the Washington State Supreme Court imposing reciprocal discipline in accordance with an order by the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board. This discipline is based on Mr. Mix’s conviction for embezzlement.

Mr. Mix’s conduct violated Michigan’s MCR 9.104(A)(5), prohibiting a lawyer from engaging in conduct that violates a criminal law of a state or of the United States.
