Description: Matthew R. Aylworth (WSBA No. 37892, admitted 2006), of Eugene, Oregon, was ordered to receive a reprimand, entered on March 25, 2010, by order of the Washington State Supreme Court imposing reciprocal discipline in accordance with an order of the Supreme Court of the State of Oregon. This discipline is based on failure to review a proposed judgment of dismissal and to serve it on the defendant before filing. Mr. Aylworth’s actions violated Oregon’s RPC 3.5(b), prohibiting ex parte communications with the court; and Oregon’s RPC 8.4(a)(4), prohibiting conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice.
