Gregory D. Esau (WSBA No. 22404, admitted 1993), of Seattle, was ordered to receive a reprimand on October 14, 2008, by order of the Washington State Supreme Court imposing reciprocal discipline in accordance with an order of the Supreme Court of the State of California. This discipline is based on conduct involving failure to comply with a notice of suspension. Mr. Esau’s conduct violated California Rules of Court, rule 9.20 (formerly rule 955), requiring that within such time as the order may prescribe after the effective date of the member’s disbarment, suspension, or resignation, the member must file with the clerk of the State Bar Court an affidavit showing that he or she has fully complied with those provisions of the order entered under this rule.
